Would you like to join our Healthcare Team but have not worked in Healthcare before? Would you like to work with us and be paid whilst completing your QQI Level 5 qualification fully supported by Wygram Nursing Home? You will be mentored and receive on the job training and guidance throughout your training period.
We are currently recruiting for Trainee Health Care Assistants to work in our Wygram Nursing Home in Wexford Town to help us to deliver quality care to all of our residents.
Responsibilities/Activity
- Provide support for residents in everyday living activities
- Provide personal care for residents
- To establish and maintain relationships with residents that are based on respect and equality and that promote their independence
- Promote the physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing of residents
- Create opportunities and choice for residents to live the fullest life possible
- Help residents be as independent as possible
- Observe and report to the nurse in charge any changes in the resident’s condition or any problems in the home
