At Wygram we feel passionately about ensuring residents feel valued and loved within their home. A strong social, physical and cognitive programme is tailoured around the needs and interests of our residents. Participating in a range of interesting, creative and fun activities can make a huge difference to residents and their sense of happiness and wellbeing.
We pride ourselves on getting to know residents and what they like to do so social programmes are developed to suit their interests and tastes. An exciting social calendar reflects a broad range of activities and events that’s built around the interests of our residents. Residents remain part of their community.
Activities range from art classes to, gardening, crafts, live music and entertainment, quizzes, bingo, weekly mass, seasonal celebrations, day trips and much more. We host a tea party every Sunday. Indoor activities take place in our range of communal areas and breakout spaces. We have a sensory sitting room for residents to enjoy.
Smaller groups of like-minded residents often like to do something specific together. For example, several of our residents enjoy playing cards together.
Activity coordinators have activities in place 7 days a week and there is always lots of fun and laughter in Wygram.
All food is prepared fresh daily onsite by our experienced qualified chefs. We also pride ourselves on our seasonal food for celebrations.
Special diets and allergies are catered for.
Meals can be enjoyed in our communal dining rooms or in bedrooms depending on the residents preference.
